Legal notice and data protection - In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data, we inform you that your data will be incorporated into a file owned by the Cuenca City Council for the purpose of managing your suggestions or queries and/or informing you about subjects of interest to you. The data will never be used for purposes other than the provision of the service and will be cancelled when they are no longer necessary for that purpose.
Use of the portal and acceptance of the conditions of use. - Cuenca City Council reserves the right to modify, at any time and without prior notice, the presentation and configuration of the portal, as well as the services offered and the conditions under which they are offered. Access to and use of the portal presupposes the prior reading and acceptance by the User of the present Conditions of Use published on the portal. Intellectual and industrial property of the contents - All the software and contents of the Portal are the property of the Cuenca City Council or of the service and content providers who have granted the City Council the right to use them.
The photographs included in the Portal are the property of the author of the same, and the City Council of Cuenca is the owner of their publication in any means of communication. Any other entity, organisation or person wishing to use them must request it in writing, by telephone or email to the author of the photographs.
The brands, signs or logos of the City Council that appear on the Portal are the property of the City Council of Cuenca or their use has been duly authorised.
The provision of the contents and software available on the Portal does not imply in any case the transfer of ownership or exploitation in favour of the user, who in turn undertakes to use them in accordance with the law, morality or public order.
Any use of the contents of the portal, including the reproduction, copying, sale, distribution, dissemination, publication, exhibition, public communication, transformation or modification of the contents, is strictly prohibited without the relevant authorisation of the Cuenca City Council or the holder of the corresponding intellectual and industrial property rights.
The User undertakes not to remove, evade or manipulate the copyright and other identifying data included in the Portal.
Privacy and treatment of personal data - The Cuenca City Council guarantees Users, in accordance with the terms of Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data, that it will treat their personal data confidentially.
Documents and telematic communications - The validity of telematic documents issued by public administrations and entities, and by the Users themselves, as well as telematic communications and notifications between public administrations and entities and the User, is regulated by the provisions of current legislation.
Cookies policy - The City Council of Cuenca does not use, in general, cookies when a User browses the Portal. However, they may be used in some sections or services. In this case, it will previously inform the User of this fact, and it would only be in the case of anonymous and personalisation cookies (registration).
Policy on chats and opinion forums - Cuenca City Council informs Users that in order to participate in chats, opinion forums or similar services available on the Portal, it is not necessary to be a registered User and that, as it is a place of public access, contributions, opinions, comments, etc. will be public and may be known by third parties.
Any exchange or dissemination of information in the chat and opinion forum services or similar services shall be subject to the restrictions on liability and content of the information in these Terms of Use.
Queries by e-mail - Cuenca City Council informs Users who make queries by e-mail that the transmission of information will be encrypted in order to guarantee its confidentiality.

Exclusion of guarantees and liability - The Cuenca City Council accepts no liability for any damage, errors or inaccuracies that may arise from the malfunctioning of the portal, nor for any direct or indirect damage or harm that may arise from the non-availability of the portal and its services.

Likewise, the City Council is not responsible for the compliance of these third parties with the regulations in force, nor for any damage or harm that the User may suffer as a consequence of errors, defects and omissions in the information provided by the portal that comes from external sources.
Procedure in the event of activities of an illicit nature - In the event that the Cuenca City Council becomes aware of the use of the services provided by the Portal for activities that could possibly infringe the rights of third parties or constitute illicit acts, it may take all necessary measures to prevent the continuation of these activities, and reserves the right to initiate the appropriate legal action.
Exchange or dissemination of information - The Cuenca City Council declines all responsibility arising from the exchange of information between Users through the pages of the portal. The responsibility for the statements disseminated on its web pages corresponds exclusively to the person who makes them.
Official publications - The administrative information provided on the Internet does not replace the legal publication of laws, general provisions and acts that have to be formally published in the official journals of public administrations, the printed edition of which is the only instrument that attests to their authenticity and content.

In the event of any discrepancy between the version of documents and information obtained on this website and the version considered official, the official version of the administrations is the only legally valid one.
